The goal of this project was to expose the students to the importance of community service and to empower them to tailor their project to their specific community's resources and needs. In addition, this project created an opportunity for the children to learn more about entrepreneurship, business ownership, and project proposals.

If you plan to implement a similar WebQuest, I suggest that you begin the front loading portion of the project earlier than you think is necessary, amend the WebQuest with additional scaffolding as necessary, and expect that the project will go slower (and take longer) than anticipated.
